September 11, 2018

Global sportswear and fashion brand adidas is the latest high-profile name to announce a new outlet store opening at Lifestyle Outlets Gloucester in late-Autumn 2018. The apparel and footwear giants will stock a full adidas product range, as well as product ranges from Reebok, adding to the strong line up of retailers already performing successfully at Gloucester Quays.

The new store will stand at 5,995 sq ft and demonstrates the ongoing popularity and success of the Gloucester Quays scheme for retailers. This launch follows other successful openings in the last 12 months from fashion retailers including Ted Baker, Jack Wills and Cath Kidston.

Adrian Wright, Lifestyle Outlet’s Leasing Director said “adidas is a fantastic new addition to Gloucester Quays and will complement our existing fashion, sports and streetwear brand mix. New stores, restaurants and successful events have cemented Lifestyle Outlets Gloucester as a major lifestyle and leisure destination, recognised across the county and beyond. Occupier interest, footfall and sales continue to be strong for the centre as we build towards our busiest period over Christmas.”

Lifestyle Outlets has reported a record year with sales at an all-time high at its two outlets – Gloucester Quays and Lowry Outlet MediaCityUK Manchester. The previous 12 months has resulted in a 5% overall increase in footfall YOY and 5 new store openings across both sites. The company, part of Peel Land and Property, reported an impressive 10.4 percent increase in sales at its two operational outlets in 2017, in striking contrast to slowing high street sales.

Lifestyle Outlets continues to collaborate with quality brands giving its customers an enhanced retail, leisure, dining and entertainment experience with their award-winning events. These brands include such well-known names as Marks & Spencer, Next, Skechers, L.K.Bennett, Calvin Klein, Jaeger, Nike, AllSaints, Levi’s, Cineworld, Virgin Active, Zizzi, Wagamama, Pizza Express and Bill’s.
